Who is Julius Malema?
Julius Malema is the founder of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a fascist political party that use intimidation, extortion and corruption to further its agenda. He was the president of the African National Congress Youth League (ANYL) before starting the EFF party. He is suspected of looting the VBS Mutual Bank, and spending lavish amounts on luxury European brands, such as Gucci and Le Coq Sportif.
While Malema enjoys all the benefits of Western culture and capitalism such as his cars, jewellery, trust fund and property, he advocates anti-Christian, anti-European, anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-Capitalism ideologies amongst his EFF supporters.
The word Malema is Sotho for “The Lame”. Malema prefer using his European name Julius, however his real name is Sello a Sotho word for “Wailing” or “Crying”.
Malema was born in 1981 in Pietersburg, Transvaal where he received a European education. He is a Mopedi, a bantu set of people that speak Sotho and migrated from the Eastern part of Africa and settled in South Africa.
Malema is a convicted criminal, found guilty of hate speech twice. In 2012, Malema was charged with money laundering and tax evasion and is currently being investigated by journalists and the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa for corruption. He recently appeared in court for the illegal firing of an assault rifle at an EFF gathering.
Malema was convicted in 2010 for hate speech by the Equality Court of South Africa. His “Shoot the Boer, Shoot the Farmer” song was ruled unconstitutional and unlawful by the South Gauteng Court.
Julius Malema is being monitored for inciting hate crime and crimes against humanity. He is currently facing numerous criminal charges laid by Afriforum, Solidarity, The Freedom Front and the Democratic Alliance.
