The missionary report on Genocide by Dr. Peter Hammond of Frontline Fellowship.

Born and raised in Africa, Dr. Peter Hammond has been a pioneer missionary to some of the worst war zones in the world. For over 34 years Dr. Peter Hammond has served persecuted churches and pioneered evangelistic outreaches into Rwanda, Angola, Congo, Mozambique, Sudan and Nigeria.

In the course of his missionary activities Dr. Hammond has been ambushed, come under aerial and artillery bombardments, been stabbed, shot at, beaten by mobs, arrested, imprisoned and tortured.

Dr. Peter Hammond has helped establish over 100 Christian schools and numerous Bible Colleges throughout Africa. He has smuggled in and distributed hundreds of thousands of Bibles, New Testaments and Christian books into communist and muslim nations.

We take a look at his presentation on the existential threat to minorities in South Africa.

Bishop Truro Report

Religious Persecution: A white cross in Delmas Mpumalanga province, erected for murdered farmers being desecrated and set on fire on 2 November 2020.

The killing and persecution of minorities that belong to the Christian faith has come under the spotlight before. In 2019 the UK Foreign Secretary tasked the Bishop of Truro to prepare a report with recommendations.

Despite the fact that over half a million people in South Africa have been murdered under ANC rule, many of whom are Christians, the Bishops report fail to mention any persecution or killings in South Africa. The Bishop did however describe the magnitude of Christian persecution with the following:

“In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide” concluded Bishop Truro.
